“Summer Placement”

My placement was with the Grange Pharmacy, part of the Right Medicine Pharmacy group. I had two projects to complete over the month, one was on a peer discussion and the other on implementing pharmacy first within the branch. Ghazal the pharmacist supported me through both projects and took time to ensure I had good ideas which I could develop. Head office were also very helpful in providing information about the projects with plenty of warning about completion dates. Something that stood out to me during my placement with Right Medicine was the positive and helpful company culture. From the first day of my placement I felt as if the pharmacy were happy to have me and created an environment which supported my learning.
